CAROLYN PACKER’S STOMPIN’ RHYTHM ACES | Jazz at the Pines
Sun 17 Nov 2024 | 12:30 PM
My wonderful Stompin’ Rhythm Aces band will be performing at Jazz at the Pines Sunday.
Jazz at the Pines is a favourite for several reasons:
One, my nickname is Pine and it is so fitting I should play jazz with my band under the Pine trees in the grounds of the famous Roughley House, a piece of Australian history.
Secondly, the Hills district is where I, and my dear guitarist friend Cameron Jones grew up – though I am just a little older than Cam!
And thirdly, I simply love the way the Rotary club organises this venue so people can cruise in with friends bringing their own picnic basket and drinks and soaking up the lovely atmosphere in the pretty surroundings.
Details and bookings here.
